Privacy policy
Tactile History takes the privacy of students and educators seriously. We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service and never sell or share data with third parties. This page is a high-level summary; the full privacy policy is available on request.
What we collect
- License key + device fingerprint (panel pairing)
- Quiz answers (anonymized, device-keyed)
- Email address (school admin, for license + renewal emails)
What we don't collect
- No student names, no PII
- No location data beyond the school district the license is bound to
- No advertising identifiers
Data retention
- Quiz attempts: 1 year
- LLM conversation logs: 30 days
- Audit log (license events, admin actions): 7 years
